
Artist-branded product give-aways
In 2007 we were approached by computer peripherals powerhouse Logitech about setting up product give-aways on artist web sites and other third party lifestyle web sites.
Logitech expressed an interest in modern hip-hop and soul music, so we immediately contacted our friends at Zomba Label Group and set up promotions around their artists Chris Brown, Lil’ Mama, T-Pain and R Kelly. To round things out, we worked with Interscope Records to set up product give-aways around two big name rock acts, Wolfmother and All-American Rejects. Finally, we set up give-aways on several prominent hip-hop lifestyle web sites, including HipHopDX.com and Vibe.com.
Super-targeted product marketing and valuable artist affiliation for Logitech. By collecting email addresses from everyone who entered to win Logitech products, the company was able to significantly boost its mailing list for use in future direct marketing campaigns. On the flipside, participating record labels and artists received key exposure on the heavily-trafficked Logitech website, as well as on third party web sites.
